After a busy summer of U13 and U15 championship football and unfortunate to loose both finals the U13’s loosing to a strong Rathmore team on a score line of 4-15 to 1-03 and the U15’s loosing to neighbours Laune Rangers 5-12,to 2-04 after a strong campaign in getting to the finals.
However the U14 girls have regrouped for the East Kerry League to play Dr Crokes in Beaufort this afternoon. The team work, determination and hard work of the girls pushed them into a comfortable win.
The girls go into a Division 4 County League Final against Fossa on Thursday evening 31st August.

County Senior League Round 10 Div 2 – Beaufort Vs. St. Pat’s Blennerville

Beaufort Senior Men sponsored by Maurice Foley of MF Decorating played St. Pat’s Blennerville in the penultimate round of the County League on Friday, 18th August on home ground.  Beaufort started strong winning the throw in and with a blistering passage of play that ended with a quick goal for Darragh Coffey inside the first sixty seconds.  St. Pat’s responded well with two points for David O’Callaghan but Beaufort’s Fergal Hallissey pointed minutes later following great defensive work from Nathan Breen to put them two points ahead.  Kieran Dwyer of St. Pat’s answered with a point of his own but this was answered once again by Beaufort, this time coming from Niall O’Connor.  Hallissey scored once again mid way through the first half, this time from a free but St. Pat’s followed this up with three points from Luke Mulligan, David O’Callaghan and Breandain Savage before Hallissey once again pointed from a free.  Beaufort rounded out the first half with a fantastic goal for Nathan Breen which rebounded twice before finally finding the back of the net.  Half time score:- Beaufort 2-04    St. Pat’s Blennerville 0-07


The second half started much the same as the first with a goal for Beaufort, this time from Ronan Ferris and followed up with two points, one from a free and one from play for Ciaran Kennedy.  Beaufort steamed ahead with six unanswered points from Fergal Hallissey, Liam Carey and Darragh Coffey and in twenty-sixth minute Liam Carey scored Beaufort’s fourth goal after a couple of great saves initially by John Fitzgerald and couple of bounce backs from the cross-bar.  St. Pat’s finished out the game with a point each from Paul McMahon and David O’Callaghan.  Stand out performer for Beaufort was Nathan Breen.  Full Time Score:- Beaufort 4-12  St. Pat’s Blennerville 0-09
